I offer professional copy editing, stylistic/line editing, proofreading, and copywriting. While I love variety and am open to many different types of projects, I mainly focus on children’s, middle-grades, and young adult fiction and non-fiction, academic and scholarly editing, and editing ESL work. I am especially interested in parenting, child development, education, mental health and wellness/mental illness, food and nutrition, health and wellness, psychology, and arts and culture.

Wondering how much it will cost to hire an editor or writer for your project? Since the cost will depend on a few factors, including the size, type, and scope of your project, please contact me for a quote! Depending on the type of work your project requires, I may need to see a sample of the work in order to give a more accurate estimate of cost.
Quality editing is worth it, but I realize that in some cases the cost can feel like a barrier to pursuing an edit for your project. I love to work with clients to find ways to fit the cost of a quality edit into their budget—please don’t hesitate to contact me to discuss options!
For more information on how much it costs to hire an editor or writer, check out my blog post on the topic, or head over to the Editorial Freelancers Association‘s quick breakdown of average editorial rates. (Please take the numbers as a general idea—the numbers are there to give an average range, but your project may come in at a different rate than is given on the chart.)
Curious or confused about the different types of editing? See my blog post on the different types of editing for details on the editing services I offer!
